Spinal Mobilization

Low-velocity joint work for patients who cannot or would rather not be adjusted: acute flares, osteoporosis, post-surgical spines, and anyone who simply prefers it.

Mobilization is the same anatomy, approached slowly. Graded oscillation at the joint, held stretch, and positional work, all under your control and all stoppable at any point.

For a lot of acute low back and neck presentations it does the same job as a thrust, just over a couple more visits. That trade is often the right one.

What it changes

  • An option when a thrust technique is not appropriate
  • Gentler on acute, guarded, and post-surgical presentations
  • Fully under the patient's control
