Class IV Laser Therapy

Deep-tissue laser applied over an inflamed area, used as an adjunct during a flare, never as the plan on its own.

The applicator warms the area and the session is quiet and passive. Evidence for laser is mixed and we treat it accordingly: an adjunct that some patients respond well to, priced as an add-on, and dropped if you are not one of them.

What it changes

  • Comfortable, passive, ten minutes
  • Useful adjunct during an acute flare
  • Dropped from the plan if you do not respond

Safety & what to expect

Not used over the eyes, over a suspected malignancy, or during pregnancy. Protective eyewear is worn in the room.
